I loved to look at beautiful things around me——flowers, people, or just plain blue skies. For my 15th birthday, I begged my parents to buy me a newly released Canon camera. I was amazed by every aspect of it and took it with me everywhere, but I soon realized that I wasn't thinking: I was simply taking pictures of everything. Instead of understanding the true meaning of photography, I was recording the things, objects, and people my eyes saw, and that was when my photography began to permeate many aspects of my life.

 

      I would slowly walk through the streets to take pictures every week, where I saw many impressive scenes that I couldn't control myself to press the shutter. The urge to record for the sake of memory always touched my soul and allowed me to express feelings of joy, respect, and compassion.

 

      As one of the most important mediums for retaining people's memories, photography freezes the beauty of the moment and recalls the happiness and the eternal touch. I'm not an excellent storyteller, but I am able to tell the most sincere stories and convey my truest thoughts through pictures. 

 

      I use photography to express the depths of my heart, and I use my work to narrate my story. My goals are to observe the world I see carefully and experience life deeply.
